I am very pleased to introduce a new product called "The XT-60 Fuse" (TM) which uses an in-line 20A fuse to protect the XT-60 connected power source from the DC load.
This is very easy to install and use, simply unplug the power supply XT-60 connectors and insert between them.
Even if your battery pack has a BMS this will help save them from catastrophic failure. You can replace the fuse with any value up to 30A so you can control the current externally. If you use raw battery oacks without a BMS you will want a last-chance fuse to save your batteries in cases of abnormally high current situations.
Some might say you don't need fuses too. I have lost some equipment that way.
